Welcome to Hogwarts, haven for the strange and magical. The world outside is in chaos, but within the walls of the ancient castle students can relax and forget about the unsettling news rolling in from every corner of the wizarding and muggle worlds. Under the protection of the great Headmaster Albus Dumbledore, the young witches and wizards are free to pursue their magical education in safety. Dumbledore may be headmaster, but a different group rules the school. Calling themselves the Marauders, James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew create all sorts of mischief and mayhem. Now entering their 6th year, the group has even bigger plans for pranks, jokes, and general mischief. Not one of them has put much thought into what their future may be like. With the news of the rising Dark Lord and the danger out in the world, the Marauders are content to continue spreading their particular style of chaos throughout every corner of Hogwarts. However, it's not all fun and games to everyone and some of their antics may be described as annoying or downright cruel. The Marauders see themselves as a force dedicated to making life interesting, but with pranks that border on emotional abuse and harassment, are they really the good guys they portray themselves as? And what of their usual target, Severus Snape? The greasy little boy who wants nothing more than a couple of real friends (and Lily), is he truly the evil thing they see him as? In a world of uncertainties (and teenage hormones) the big question is: Is the world really divided into good and evil? Black and white? Or is it all just varying shades of gray? |

I feel a need to have people read through the rules once more. Things have been reorganized and, hopefully, will stick a little better now. Since the question has been raised: Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff will attend all classes together. Gryffindor and Slytherin will do the same. I'm currently working on some sort of Quidditch match-up, as well. Oh, and happy New Year. ---------------- Each House is currently gaining 10 points for every student sorted into it. The Common Rooms, following Hogwarts rules, are password protected. You will receive the password for the appropriate board when your character is accepted. I realize having characters in different Houses defeats the purpose of this, but it's still fun. |
